CONTEMPORARY: Hugo Wilson 

Hugo Wilson studied at the renowned Charles H Cecil Studios in Florence, and in 2006 he was shortlisted for the National Portrait Gallery BP Portrait prize for his painting 'Dario'. Hugo recently completed his MA at City & Guilds, London.

The Sphenoid Rorshack Angel pictured here is a detailed meticulous drawing encased in a cabinet fronted by etched glass. It depicts the irregular shaped bone occupying the base of the skull, with a central body two wings.

More recently Hugo cpmpleted a series of etchings entitled 'Genetically Modified Animals'. There are six animals in the series, each in an edition of 7.
