London Art Fair 2010

We will be again be exhibiting at The London Art Fair, on Stand G11, January 13 - 17th. Please email/call Julie or Alice for tickets and please let is if you would like them for the opening night PV on the 12th.
We are delighted this year to be collaborating with The Curwen Studio to present a series of limited edition prints. The studio was set up in 1958 and 50 years later is still going strong. To celebrate their Anniversary they have produced a special edition print by Paula Rego which signifies the beginnings in 1958; and an Antony Micallef print which captures the current period of printmaking.
We are also pleased to announce we will be showing a new group of drawings by Guy Denning inspired by Renée Jeanne Falconetti’s 1928 film 'La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc'. *PLEASE SEE GUY'S ARTIST PAGE FOR IMAGES AND DETAILS*
As well as the above we will have new works by Georgia Peskett, James Mackinnon and Hynek Martinec, and Modern British works on paper by artists including John Piper, William Orpen, and Edward Bawden.

Abstract Landscape by John Piper (1903 - 92)
Watercolour & collage on paper, signed.
Taken from Piper’s sketchbook of 1968 this is almost certainly the Brittany coast. Piper had been painting abstract landscapes since the 1930s returning to them when he was in Brittany in the early 1960s. |
